The Problem Lies Not With Truth, But With One's Acceptance of it

Typically, Catholics are accused of being anti-intellectual and not being able to see the 'plain' truth, yet nothing can be further from the Truth! If not for the Catholic Church, the very notion of authentic education would not exist...(i.e. scholasticism, studying a series of effects back to its 'cause' namely God!) We must understand Truth is Truth! It is immutable...it just is! Once face to face with it, the active intellect must succumb, if not, the problem lies not with Truth but with one's acceptance of it (ego or false understanding, therefore 'error'). - Marco Mastro
